Implant Dentistry

Overview

Dental Implants can replace a single or multiple missing teeth without impacting on the neighboring teeth. After the implant is placed and has integrated into the bone, the general dentist will restore the implants with fixed crowns or a removable prosthesis.

Implant restored teeth improve the individual’s appearance, eating ability, speech and can even enhance a person’s self-esteem. They are comfortable to wear and feel like natural teeth.

Implant restored teeth are very durable and will last many years. With good care, many implants last a lifetime.

Fortunately, Dr. David Moisa, a periodontist who specializes in placing implants, now offers this service in the comfort of our office. Dr. Moisa will evaluate each patient to determine if they have enough bone structure to support an implant before implant placement. An individualized treatment plan will be established and clearly discussed with each patient at that time.
